Last weekend, Photographer Greg Pallante and I went shipping up to Boston, where everybody knows your name. I was happy to take Clark's along for the ride, as we enjoyed all that Beantown had to offer.

FIRST DAY:
BOSTON COMMON and THE BEEHIVE RESTAURANT.

THE BEEHIVE.

About:
The Beehive is an underground Bohemian bistro featuring amazing cuisine, libations, artwork and live music nightly. Nestled below the Boston Center for the Art’s historic Cyclorama in Boston’s South End, The Beehive serves the eclectic fare of Chef Marc Orfaly, rustic comfort foods infused with American, European, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern influences. The Beehive is the perfect location for after-work cocktails, dinner, live music, events and more. Come to taste the cuisine, come to view the art, come to hear the music or simply come to share in the merriment.

THE SECOND DAY:
Aloft Hotel, Ride Studios Cafe, The North End, Bobby From Boston, Fenway Park and Boston Museum.

Aloft Lexington Hotel.

Our stay in MA was located in Aloft Lexington hotel. After a long day of driving and shooting, we decided to crash at this beautiful hotel with a indoor design. With vibrant colors, we were pretty much lost in translation. A huge plus is their bar and billiard room. The perfect way to end your night.

What Is Ride Studio Cafe?
Ride Studio Cafe is a unique combination of two businesses: a high-end bike shop and an urbane cafe.  The Ride Studio—the bike shop—integrates elements of a cafe environment: warm, inviting, and friendly.  The Studio Cafe brings cycling culture into cafe culture: there is a friendly energy shared by both our staff and customers.  This creates an environment that welcomes both riders and people who just enjoy a good cup of coffee and a comfortable atmosphere into a friendly, engaging environment.

THE NORTH END.

My favorite part of the city was The North End, Boston's answer to Little Italy. I loved exploring the hidden cobblestone alleyways and people watching the locals. I found myself envying the older Italian-American men relaxing and enjoying stoop life.

CLARK'S INTERVIEW:

KIBBEE MILLER
partnership marketing coordinator

Kibbee Miller, born and raised in Boston.
There’s nothing that compares to a Summer spent in Boston. The amount of pride that people from Boston have is unmatched. Not only has this city been through some tough times together, but as a whole we are starting to embrace growth opportunities and change. Working for a company like Clarks really is a dream come true. I became obsessed with footwear at an early age, so to have the opportunity to not only apply my higher education, but personal passions to my career is amazing. With Boston’s skyline changing for the better; much like Clarks, the best is yet to come!

FENWAY PARK

Of course, Fenway Park is a baseball park located in Boston, Massachusetts. Since 1912, it has been the home of the Boston Red Sox, the city's baseball franchise. In fact, it is the oldest ballpark in MLB. I was so happy to meet up with Kibbee at Fenway, which is just blocks away from where she grew up.
