#dennyvisits HOTEL INDIGO LOWER EAST SIDE.

Last week, my wife and I checked into the new Hotel Indigo in the LES. Living so close to the city, we recognized that it was a treat to be invited to stay at the hotel but also felt a little silly considering how close we live and how familiar with the city we already are. That being said, the Hotel Indigo was adamant about curating the exclusive Lower East Side vibe and aesthetic  and so, we jumped at the opportunity to be tourists in our own backyard.
The location of the Indigo is smack in the heart of the Lower East Side with Katz Deli right on the corner. The hotel’s aesthetic is focused around the art and design of the neighborhood’s storied past brought to life by legendary street artist Lee Quinones. It also features jaw-dropping, unobstructed views of Manhattan from almost every floor. Checking in, we were met with exceptional service and felt instantly welcomed and at ease in the care of the staff. While we had a tight agenda for our stay and didn’t have much time or need for site seeing, the hotel staff was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood, it’s hot spots and it’s past. If you are traveling from out of town or looking for a Manhattan experience which is a bit edgier, you’d be in great hands with the Indigo.

The hotel is also home to one of the city’s hottest new rooftop bar & restaurants, Mr. Purple, by the acclaimed Gerber Group. The view is unmatched, food is excellent and cocktails keep on coming! I also got a chance to take a view from the top in the AM, post night life. I hope you’ll enjoy re-living our experience by viewing this photo story. Thanks Hotel Indigo LES!
